阀门定期维护涉及到填料、垫片、执行器、阀内件、阀杆、齿轮箱等，维护周期分为每年、每5年、每10年等，下表是VELAN阀门的预防性维护计划表。

COMPONENTS/AREA ACTIONS FREQUENCY
Packing bolting (non-live loaded and live loaded) Ensure proper torque is applied to the bolting. Ensure stud and nut are properly lubricated to achieve proper torque. Use only recommended lubrication. Yearly
Gaskets
Actuator connections
Packing rings and gaskets (external) Remove and replace. Install only OEM recommended packing and gaskets. Follow proper OEM installation procedures. Every 5 years
Valve internals Disassemble valve to check internal parts (i.e. stem, wedge/ disc/ball, seat, gaskets, keys, bearing seals, etc) for wear. Replace any needed parts with only OEM parts. Every 10 years
Stem and stem nut Ensure stem thread is properly lubricated. Use only recommended lubrication. Operate valve and inspect stem for any signs of galling, scratching and corrosion. Yearly
Actuators/gear operator Follow the recommendations for the specific actuator manufacturer. As defined by the actuator manufacturer
Operation Inspect limits (torque and/or position) and limiters (mechanical or electronic). Yearly
