OPW Engineered Systems’ dry-disconnect couplings prevent spillage from both routine and accidental disconnects.
A dry disconnect consists of a built-in valve and a spring-loaded poppet in the mating adaptor that automatically
closes when disconnected. OPW's line of dry disconnect products include Drylok™ and the economical Kamvalok®
Both Drylok™ and Kamvalok® are suitable for a wide range of hazardous transfer applications.

safely. An interlocking handle averts
accidental spills by preventing

Loading Valves
OPW Engineered Systems' Loading Valves are designed
to shut off flow without causing damaging shock in the
pipeline. Pipeline shock, or “hammer,” causes problems
with pipe joints and instruments in the line. Fast,
shockless closing is assured by use of an adjustable needle
valve and a dashpot. Air cannot be trapped in the valve,
and as a result, the valve does not open after closure.
This variable closure rate controls shock with minimum
afterflow. Loading valves are available in several styles.
